Tonight Was Chicken – Creamy Garlic Herb Skillet Chicken
Ingredients (Serves 4):
For the chicken:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 tablespoon butter
For the creamy herb sauce:

4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

1/2 cup chicken broth
-
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
-
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
-
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Salt & pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Season the Chicken:

Season both sides of chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
2. Sear:

Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add chicken and sear 4–5 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (165°F/75°C inside).

Remove and set aside.
3. Make the Creamy Sauce:

In the same pan, reduce heat to medium-low and sauté garlic for 1 minute.

Add chicken broth, cream, Italian seasoning, and thyme. Simmer 2–3 minutes.

Stir in Parmesan cheese and simmer until slightly thickened.
4. Return Chicken:

Add chicken back to the skillet. Spoon sauce over the top and simmer 2–3 more minutes.
5. Serve:

Garnish with fresh herbs.

Serve over mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, or with roasted veggies.
Storage:
